Academic Therapy

Academic therapy is beneficial for a wide variety of students. We use research-based techniques to teach students how to learn effectively. By utilizing formal and informal assessments, we create individualized lessons for students with various learning disabilities, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD, and those who merely need to fill in academic gaps. Objectives may include study skills, executive function skills, increasing reading comprehension, and improving writing mechanics and verbal and written expression. Therapy sessions are 45-60 minutes long, and we recommend that students meet twice a week.
