Dyslexia Therapy

We utilize Orton-Gillingham-based programs, including Alphabetic Phonics, Multi-Sensory Teaching Approach (MTA), Reading Readiness (Neuhaus), Metacognition (Neuhaus), and Take Flight, to drive our instruction, which moves at the speed of each student’s need.

During sessions, students work on the alphabet, phonological awareness, reading, spelling, verbal and written expression skills, grammar, reading fluency, and reading comprehension. Students will learn how to distinguish speech sounds of the English language using a multi-sensory approach and understand the rules of both decoding and encoding of the English Language.

Academic Language Therapy best serves those diagnosed with dyslexia. We recommend that students meet with us four times weekly for 45 minutes.
